‘Trail Angel’ is a term of endearment given to people who have provided trail magic in the form of direct kindness to hikers.

What is Trail Magic?

Trail magic, simply put, is an unexpected act of generosity toward a hiker.

Example: At a trailhead, a trail angel had cold drinks, food and blister patches waiting for any hiker that passed through.

Hikers Helping Hikers provides education and supplies for trail angels to disperse to hikers along the trails.
